Fishing

Fishing

Yesterday as said my son went fishing he had all his hope up for a good catch but once again he came back empty handed.

It is breaking my heart to see him come back with all his gear and an empty bucket.

This afternoon our neighbor came to see his family and as he has a small fishing boat he took his son and mine fishing.

I prayed to every god, sea god and fish god to let him catch one fish.

They stayed quite a few hours at sea, as it was a very quiet evening. I was waiting impatiently, would it be his big night or would his enthusiasm become devastation.

At last I saw the boat coming, it took a long time for them to reach the beach. Suddenly my son jumped out and ran to where I was waiting. His smile lit up the whole beach and surroundings he had finally caught his first fish.

After having shown off to me and his brother he ran off to his friends who were fishing on the usual spot.

When he came back he put the fish in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer so he can show it to his father when he comes at the weekend.
